ABOUT
Join us for the challenge of a lifetime as you aim to complete 360 miles of stunning scenery between Haines and Skagway, Alaska as fast as you can, self-supported with the goal of finishing under 72 hours. This challenge is not sanctioned or organized in any way. It’s just a group of cyclists heading out on the same route at the same time.
Our second annual ride will begin with a Grand Depart in Haines at 6:00 AM on Saturday July 26th, 2025.
This is a self-supported challenge. All participants who would like to compare times should adhere to self-supported challenge ethics including:
- Completing the entire route under your own power.
- No use of motorized vehicles.
- Carrying all of your own gear. There is no required gear list.
- No prearranged gear drops, water, or food caches.
- No support vehicle or crew.
- No E-bike riders will be listed in any theoretical time comparison.
- All resources used should be available to any rider.
While the ride starts and ends in Alaska, the majority of the miles take place in Yukon Territory, Canada. All riders need to bring proper documents for border crossing. (See FAQ for more important information about border crossing.)
